Pool Shock Treatment has been specially formulated to rapidly destroy algae, slime and unpleasant odors. It is recommended for use as a periodic shock treatment or superchlorination to control algae growth. Usage: Turn on the filter. Adjust pH to the range 7.2 to 7.6 prior to using Pool Shock Treatment. At night, or when the pool is not in use, add 1 pound of Pool Shock Treatment per 10,000 gallons of pool water by sprinkling it over a wide area of the pool surface.Depending on stock another brand could be substituted!
