Hayward AQR AquaRite Salt Controller - GLX-CTL-RITE

Hayward AquaRite Salt Controller GLX-CTL-RITE

The Hayward AquaRite GLX-CTL-RITE is a controller for an AquaRite salt chlorination system, suitable for replacing an existing controller or completing a system with a separately purchased cell and P-Kit. This listing is for the controller only; the salt cell is not included.

Compatibility and electrical specifications

• Compatible with T-CELL-3, T-CELL-9 and T-CELL-15 salt cells.
• 110/220V electrical specification.
• Replaces the former AQR controller.
• Can be used with Hayward Aqua Logic.

What is required to complete the system?

A salt cell and P-Kit must be purchased separately to complete the system. If you are replacing a controller and already have a compatible cell installed, this controller can be used with that existing cell.

How the AquaRite system works

When paired with a compatible salt cell, the Hayward Goldline AquaRite electronic chlorine generator, also known as a salt chlorinator, produces chlorine while the pool is being filtered. Chlorine is distributed throughout the pool through the return jets. The system uses a low concentration of dissolved salt, described as below the level of taste.

AquaRite system configurations cover residential pools of 15,000, 25,000 and 40,000 gallons. Match the cell and system configuration to your pool's requirements; the controller alone does not generate chlorine.

The AquaRite system installs on standard filtration systems for both new construction and existing pools.
