When added to pool water, Chlorine Stabilizer makes the chlorine residual last longer by minimizing evaporation of chlorine. Chlorine Stabilizer is completely soluble in water and is effective in stabilizing the chlorine residual of all types of chlorine in pool water. Usage: Chlorinate the pool. Adjust the pH of the water to 7.2 to 7.6 and maintain the chlorine residual at 1.0 to 2.0 ppm. Add Chlorine Stabilizer at the rate of at least 24 ounces per 5,000 gallons of pool water.
